AND she started her new position as assistant director of marketing & prospect management at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. This week, we welcome back the amazing Chris D’Orso. Since he was on the show back in 2015, Chris has move to SUNY College at Brockport where he is now the associate director of undergraduate admissions. The move for him was a positive change, as it’s allowed him to reconnect with his passion of working in undergraduate admission. You’ll also find out about something really big that’s been happening in Lougan’s life and why the podcast has been a little inconsistent lately. Steve Ostendorff is the director of graduate admissions at Bank Street Graduate School of Education in Manhattan. We talk about commuting to work, and what Steve does to pass the time on his two-hour train ride. Part of his daily routine includes taking a nap, but more importantly doing his homework – because he’s also a part-time doctoral student. Steve tells Lougan and Jackie about his department’s efforts to roll out an online course.

Jacqueline Rowe is the senior enrollment communications coordinator for undergraduate admissions at Stony Brook University, where she focuses on event management and website coordination plus social media for the university. We learn all about “Jackie Idea Bombs” and talk about carbs. Lots of carbs. Lougan goes hard on science again, and we answer the question, “is butter a carb?”
