Andrea Gils is the marketing and communications manager at University of Kentucky’s International Center. Originally from Uruguay, her experience as an international student at Southeast Missouri State University is one reason she loves her job. Andrea works for different clients at the International Center similar to an agency setting. While on the show, Andrea discusses UK’s involvement in the “You’re Welcome Here” campaign for international students, and the group discusses how study abroad programs can help one better understand other cultures.

It was great having the insightful Kristen Lemaster on the show this week! She works at Vanderbilt University as the program coordinator in the Office of Inclusion Initiatives and Cultural Competence. Janell Mora is the Associate Director for International Student Professional Development for Arizona State University. Her position falls in the Career and Professional Development Services office where she works with international students and alumni, employers for global corporate engagement, and international policies.
