Jason Mollica is a professorial lecturer at American University’s School of Communication where he teaches all about social media and social media analytics. Jason is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience as a journalist, news producer and PR professional. On the show, Jason talks about his syllabuses (syllabi?) and how they were created, as well as an awesome certification opportunity for his students. Peyton Lipscomb is the retention initiatives coordinator at University of West Florida. Her undergraduate advisor in economics suggested her pursue a career a higher education since she loved serving the campus of Mississippi State. She oversees an initiative called Anchor Down for freshmen. Their events are focused around a theme and it issues stickers to professors and students with questions to ignite conversation.

Junior Delgado is the director of the Career Center at Westfield State University, a mid-sized college in Westfield, Massachusetts. He started as the coordinator of senior programs 18 years ago and nine years later he started his current role. The center is staffed with 13 people who oversee career services for undergraduates, graduates, and alumni. Junior discusses how the university uses the platform Handshake to promote one on one connections and as a tool to host networking events. His signature lesson topic to prepare students is to have them think about life after Westfield.

Dee GoinesDee Goines is Director of Residence Life, Housing and Conference Services at The University of North Texas at Dallas. During the show, Dee introduces Lougan and Jackie to the Student Affairs Kliq, a Facebook group for fans of WWE in Student Affairs. UNT Dallas has recently completed it’s first residence hall, so Residence Life is a relatively new department. As such, Resident Assistants are a new concept to the institution. Dee talks about his process for hiring new RAs and about the structure of his new department.
